Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi resolve all markets based on the official final score from CBF (Brazil's football governing body) for the match scheduled April 5, 2026, counting only the first 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with identical spread thresholds and over/under breakpoints across both platforms.
Primary resolution logic:
Official final score published by CBF (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol) at cbf.com.br; if CBF does not publish within 2 hours post-match, consensus of credible reporting may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Spread: CR Flamengo (-1.5) resolves YES if Flamengo wins by 2+ goals; otherwise NO.
Spread: CR Flamengo (-2.5) resolves YES if Flamengo wins by 3+ goals; otherwise NO.
Spread: Santos FC (-1.5) resolves YES if Santos wins by 2+ goals; otherwise NO.
Spread: Santos FC (-2.5) resolves YES if Santos wins by 3+ goals; otherwise NO.
Over/Under 1.5 resolves OVER if combined goals >= 2; UNDER if < 2.
Over/Under 2.5 resolves OVER if combined goals >= 3; UNDER if < 3.
Over/Under 3.5 resolves OVER if combined goals >= 4; UNDER if < 4.
Over/Under 4.5 resolves OVER if combined goals >= 5; UNDER if < 5.
Both Teams to Score resolves YES if both teams score at least 1 goal each; NO if either team scores 0.
All markets exclude extra time and penalties; only regular 90 minutes plus stoppage time counts.
If match is postponed, markets remain open until completion. If canceled with no makeup, all markets resolve 50-50.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is completed on its rescheduled date.
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, all markets in this group resolve 50-50 (split pool equally between YES and NO outcomes).
Incomplete Match: If the match begins but is not completed (abandoned mid-play), resolution follows the official final score as published by CBF for the portion played.
CBF Publication Delay: If CBF does not publish official final statistics within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution may use consensus of credible reporting sources instead.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon publication of the official final score by CBF, or within 2 hours post-match if CBF uses consensus reporting. Markets settle based on the score at the end of 90 minutes plus stoppage time only.
