In the upcoming match between Coventry City and AS Monaco, scheduled for August 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Coventry City" if Coventry City are the first to score in the match (regardless of format). This market will resolve to "AS Monaco" if AS Monaco are the first to score in the match (regardless of format). If neither team scores in the match (regardless of format), this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market considers goals scored at any point in the match, regardless of format (e.g. two halves totaling 90 minutes plus stoppage time, or four periods totaling 120 minutes). The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds often reflect sharper, community-driven insights compared to traditional sportsbook lines, which can be influenced by broader betting patterns and institutional positioning. In this market, prediction platforms may show tighter spreads or different implied probabilities than sportsbooks, especially when unusual game dynamics — like underdog momentum or tactical surprises — arise. The gap between the two can widen or narrow based on new information, such as lineup changes or weather updates affecting scoring chances.
On Polymarket and Predict, prices can diverge due to differences in user bases, liquidity, and how each platform weights trading activity. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one venue might attract more soccer specialists who favor detailed tactical analysis, while the other could reflect general sports fans with broader bets. These distinct participant pools often lead to varied probability assessments, especially in early trading phases when information is still emerging and sentiment can shift quickly.
Injuries to key attackers, weather delays affecting match flow, or tactical shifts by coaches can all sway this market. Media reports about team form, recent scoring trends, and even pre-match betting spikes on either side may cause probabilities to swing. As the match nears, any last-minute lineup announcements or strategic hints from managers could trigger rapid re-pricing, especially if they suggest a more offensive or defensive approach that alters scoring odds.
