PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's match outcome market contains a logical contradiction where both possible match outcomes (Yawara Esports win OR Game Hunters win) are stated to resolve to 'Yes', making the market fundamentally unresolvable. Polymarket markets are logically consistent and resolvable.Hero tip: Do not trade the Kalshi market. It cannot be settled fairly. Use only Polymarket markets for this event. Confirm all results via HLTV.org within 2 hours of match conclusion.

Critical divergence points:

  • Kalshi: Match outcome market states: 'If Yawara Esports wins... resolves to Yes' AND 'If Game Hunters wins... resolves to Yes'. This is a logical contradiction — both mutually exclusive outcomes cannot both resolve to the same result. The market lacks a 'No' resolution path and is therefore unresolvable.
  • Polymarket: All seven markets use consistent binary or threshold logic: Match Winner resolves to team name or 50-50 on cancel/delay/tie; Map Winners resolve to team name or 50-50 on incomplete play; Round Totals resolve Over/Under based on combined rounds played to completion, or 50-50 if not completed; Handicap and Series Length follow similar patterns. All markets cite HLTV.org as primary source with 2-hour fallback to credible reporting.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 2 match between Yawara Esports and Game Hunters in the CCT South America Series 3 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 30 at 9:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Yawara Esports" if Yawara Esports win the match against Game Hunters. This market will resolve to "Game Hunters" if Game Hunters win the match against Yawara Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Kalshi

This market resolves based on the outcome of the Game Hunters vs. Yawara Esports CS2 match scheduled for June 30, 2026 at 9:00 AM EDT as part of the CCT South America Series 3 2026 tournament. The market resolves to Yes if either team wins the match. Resolution is determined by the official match result as recorded by the tournament organizers.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets and sportsbooks price events differently due to their distinct mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous order flow. This market's odds reflect what thousands of participants collectively believe will happen, often incorporating faster information than traditional books. Comparing this market's implied probability to major sportsbook lines can reveal whether professional and retail traders disagree on the likely outcome.

Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform operates distinct order books, user bases, and liquidity pools, so identical outcomes can trade at different prices simultaneously. Polymarket and Kalshi may also list slightly different outcome formulations—for example, one platform might focus on match winner while another tracks individual map results. Regulatory differences, fee structures, and the timing of information arrival across geographies can also cause temporary spreads, creating arbitrage opportunities for alert traders.

Team roster changes, recent map performance, player injuries, or public statements from coaches and analysts can shift trader sentiment before the match begins. In-game momentum during the series itself—such as a dominant first-map performance or a surprising upset—often triggers sharp repricing. Betting syndicates and professional esports analysts publishing pre-match analysis may also influence odds. Monitor team social media, esports news outlets, and live broadcast commentary for catalysts that could swing this market significantly.
