Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 1 match between Yawara Esports and Alzon in the CCT South America Series #1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for April 28 at 9:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Yawara Esports" if Yawara Esports win the match against Alzon. This market will resolve to "Alzon" if Alzon win the match against Yawara Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All Polymarket markets share identical resolution architecture: HLTV.org primary source with 2-hour fallback to credible consensus, 50-50 for cancellations/delays beyond 7 days, and consistent treatment of forfeits and incomplete series.

Primary resolution logic:

HLTV.org (official); credible consensus reporting with video evidence if HLTV.org unavailable within 2 hours of event conclusion

Core resolution logic:

  • Match outcome (BO3) resolves to the team winning 2 maps; if canceled, tied, or delayed beyond 7 days without winner determined, resolves 50-50
  • Map-specific winners (Map 1, Map 2) resolve based on completed map; if map not completed, resolves 50-50
  • Map statistics (odd/even rounds, odd/even kills) resolve based on completed map data; if map canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, forfeited, or not played due to series clinch, resolves 50-50
  • Handicap (YAW -1.5) resolves to Yawara if they win 2+ more maps than Alzon; if match incomplete, cancelled, tied, or delayed beyond 7 days, resolves 50-50
  • Games Total (O/U 2.5) resolves Over if 3+ maps played, Under if fewer; forfeits/walkovers count if match completed; if match incomplete, cancelled, tied, or delayed beyond 7 days, resolves 50-50
  • Forfeits, disqualifications, and walkovers count toward series/handicap resolution only if match is completed; if match ends due to opponent forfeit before completion, map-specific markets resolve 50-50

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Series Clinch Before Map 3: If one team wins 2 maps before Map 3 is played, Map 3 does not occur. Map 3-specific markets (Map 3 Winner, Map 3 Odd/Even Rounds, Map 3 Odd/Even Kills) resolve 50-50. Games Total (O/U 2.5) resolves Under (2 maps played).
  • Forfeit/Disqualification Mid-Series: If a team forfeits or is disqualified after the match begins but before completion, map-specific markets for unplayed maps resolve 50-50. Match outcome and handicap resolve 50-50 unless the series was already decided (2 maps completed).
  • Map Remake: If a map is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only, not the original.
  • Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 28) without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Team Name Discrepancies: Minor spelling variations, abbreviations, sponsor tags, or regional identifiers (e.g., 'YAW' vs 'Yawara Esports') are treated as the same team; resolution is based on the underlying real-world match, not exact name matching.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon match completion or official cancellation. Primary source (HLTV.org) must publish results within 2 hours of event conclusion; if unavailable, credible consensus with video evidence is used. Markets resolve immediately upon determination of outcome or 50-50 trigger.
