This event group covers a Counter-Strike Best-of-3 match between XI Esport and Team Eclipse in the Dust2.dk Ligaen Group Stage, with markets on Polymarket tracking the series winner, individual map winners, map counts, handicaps, and kill/round parity across maps. A separate Kalshi market references a different match (MASQ vs XI Esport on June 12, 2026), creating a critical scope divergence.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 1 match between XI Esport and Team Eclipse in the Dust2.dk Ligaen Group Stage, initially scheduled for April 22 at 1:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "XI Esport" if XI Esport win the match against Team Eclipse. This market will resolve to "Team Eclipse" if Team Eclipse win the match against XI Esport. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi are decentralized and user-funded, so odds reflect real-time consensus from traders rather than sportsbook algorithms. Prediction market prices often move faster in response to roster changes, player form, or scrim results, and they typically carry lower liquidity than traditional sportsbooks. This can create arbitrage opportunities or wider spreads, but also means odds may be more reactive to breaking esports news about Counter-Strike: XI Esport or Team Eclipse closer to match time.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and regulatory frameworks. Polymarket and Kalshi may list slightly different outcome definitions—for example, one may track only Counter-Strike: XI Esport's direct victory while the other includes related props—leading to price divergence. Additionally, order-book depth and trading volume vary by platform, so the same match can trade at different implied probabilities depending on which market has more active participation at any given moment.
Key catalysts include roster announcements or player substitutions from either Counter-Strike: XI Esport or Team Eclipse, recent tournament results or head-to-head records, scrim leaks or community sentiment shifts, and map pool updates affecting Dust2 strategy. Injury or visa issues, coaching changes, or tactical innovations discovered in other matches can also shift trader expectations. Monitor esports news outlets and team social media for any last-minute roster or preparation updates that could influence the perceived balance of the matchup.
