This market refers to the Counter-Strike Semifinal 2 match between Voca and regain in the BLAST Open North American Qualifier Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 10 at 9:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "Voca" if Voca win the match against regain. This market will resolve to "regain" if regain win the match against Voca. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like Polymarket aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. Sportsbooks may adjust lines based on sharp money or liability concerns, whereas prediction markets respond directly to supply and demand from participants. For esports matchups like this one, sportsbook coverage can be limited or slow to update, making prediction markets a valuable alternative lens on true market-implied probabilities. Comparing both sources helps bettors identify where consensus is strongest.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time contract prices. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects a handicap-based contract structure, where traders can buy or sell shares representing different round-count scenarios. As traders place orders, the price adjusts to reflect the collective belief in each outcome's likelihood. This continuous pricing mechanism ensures liquidity and allows participants to enter or exit positions at transparent, market-determined rates throughout the trading window.
This market resolves around Jul 11, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the final score and winner of the best-of-three series. Until that point, traders can adjust positions as new information—such as team announcements, map bans, or pre-match analysis—becomes available. Resolution timing depends on the actual start and completion of the playoff match, so participants should monitor the event schedule closely.
Several catalysts could shift odds before the match begins. Roster changes or player substitutions for either team would likely trigger significant repricing. Map pool announcements and historical head-to-head performance on specific maps often influence trader positioning. Recent tournament results, injury reports, or coaching changes can also sway sentiment. Analyst commentary and community predictions may drive retail participation. Closer to the event, warm-up match results or team practice footage leaks could prompt last-minute adjustments. Any shift in perceived team form or strategic preparation typically generates trading volume and price movement.
