Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between Vitality and 9z in the BLAST Open Rotterdam Group B, scheduled for March 19 at 2:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "Vitality" if Vitality win the match against 9z. This market will resolve to "9z" if 9z win the match against Vitality. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket use fundamentally incompatible resolution scopes. Kalshi resolves based on the tournament winner (BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 champion), while Polymarket resolves based on the specific Group B match outcome between Vitality and 9z. These are two entirely different events with no logical connection.

Hero Tip:

Do not trade across these platforms assuming they settle the same way. A Vitality win in the Group B match does NOT guarantee Vitality wins the tournament, and vice versa. Kalshi's YES requires a tournament victory; Polymarket's YES requires only a match victory. Arbitrage risk is extreme.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi resolves YES if either 9z OR Vitality wins the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 tournament (the entire event), not the specific Group B match. The resolution rule states 'If 9z wins the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026... then the market resolves to Yes' and 'If Vitality wins the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026... then the market resolves to Yes.' This means Kalshi's market resolves YES for both possible tournament outcomes, making it logically unresolvable as a binary market.
  • Polymarket: Aligned with the stated event scope: Polymarket resolves based on the specific Counter-Strike match between Vitality and 9z in Group B on March 19 at 2:30PM ET. The market resolves to 'Vitality' if Vitality wins the match, '9z' if 9z wins the match, with 50-50 resolution for cancellations, ties, delays beyond 7 days, or forfeits. Source is https://hltv.org. This is a standard match-outcome market with clear binary logic.
