Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 1 match between Vasco Esports and Damajuana in the CCT South America Series #1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for April 28 at 3:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Vasco Esports" if Vasco Esports win the match against Damajuana. This market will resolve to "Damajuana" if Damajuana win the match against Vasco Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Polymarket and Kalshi share identical match completion requirements, edge-case handling (cancellation, delay, forfeit), and resolution sources; all markets depend on the same underlying match result from HLTV.org.

Primary resolution logic:

HLTV.org (official); credible reporting and video evidence if HLTV results not published within 2 hours of event conclusion

Core resolution logic:

  • Match must be completed and played in full for standard resolution; cancellation, tie, or delay beyond 7 days without a winner triggers 50-50 resolution across all markets
  • Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward match totals and handicap if the match is completed
  • If match begins but is not completed and one team wins via opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, match-outcome markets resolve to the winning team; series-length and individual-map markets resolve 50-50
  • Individual map markets (Map 1/2/3 winner, kills, rounds) resolve 50-50 if that map is not played, not completed, or series is clinched before that map is needed
  • Handicap market (VSC -1.5 vs Damajuana +1.5) resolves to Vasco Esports if they win 2+ more maps; otherwise Damajuana; 50-50 if match not completed
  • Series length (Games Total O/U 2.5 / Kalshi Over 2.5 maps) resolves Over if 3+ maps are played; Under if fewer than 3; 50-50 if match not completed or clinching map is forfeited
  • Odd/Even markets for kills and rounds count only legitimate kills (excluding team kills and self-inflicted deaths) and sum rounds won by both teams; 50-50 if map not played or not completed

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Clinching map forfeited: If the map that clinches the series is forfeited, the match is considered completed and counts toward handicap and series-length resolution
  • Map remade: If a map is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only, not the original
  • Match begins but not completed: If match begins but is not completed, individual map markets resolve 50-50 unless that specific map is concluded with a winner; match-outcome and series-length resolve 50-50 unless one team wins via opponent forfeiture
  • Delay beyond 7 days: If match is delayed beyond 7 days from scheduled date (April 28, 2026) without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50
  • Team name discrepancies: Minor spelling variations, abbreviations, sponsor tags, or formatting differences in team names are treated as referring to the same team; if no reasonable connection exists or ambiguity cannot be resolved, market resolves 50-50

Timing:

Resolution occurs within 2 hours after event conclusion based on HLTV.org publication; if HLTV does not publish within 2 hours, credible reporting and video evidence may be used. Markets resolve 50-50 if match is not played, canceled, or delayed beyond 7 days from April 28, 2026 scheduled date.
