This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket quarterfinal 2 match between TheMongolz and FUT Esports in the FISSURE PLAYGROUND Group A, initially scheduled for September 8, 2026 at 5:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "TheMongolz" if TheMongolz win the match against FUT Esports. This market will resolve to "FUT Esports" if FUT Esports win the match against TheMongolz. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before September 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of September 8, 2026 at 5:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. This market reflects the collective wisdom of informed traders, potentially incorporating information not yet fully priced into sportsbook lines. While sportsbooks rely on their own modeling and margins, this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of expertise, access to information, or simply varying interpretations of the same data. It’s useful to compare both to form a well-rounded assessment.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell contracts representing the likelihood of each outcome. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand. Increased buying pressure on a particular outcome will drive its price up, indicating a higher perceived probability of that outcome occurring. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses a market-making algorithm to ensure there’s always a bid and ask price available, allowing traders to enter and exit positions at any time. This dynamic pricing mechanism reflects the evolving expectations of the crowd.
This market resolves around Sep 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the best-of-three Counter-Strike series between TheMongolz and FUT Esports will determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official results published by the tournament organizers. Any disputes or challenges to the official results will be addressed according to the platform’s standard procedures, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution process for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. News regarding player form, team strategies, or even unexpected roster changes could all shift trader sentiment. Significant updates about map pools or potential veto strategies could also cause movement. Furthermore, any public statements from team members or analysts offering predictions could impact the odds. Finally, large-volume trades from informed participants could signal shifts in expectations, potentially creating opportunities for others to react to new information as it becomes available before Sep 8, 2026.
