This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between The Huns Esports and GAMEPOINT in the LG UltraGear Tournament Group A, initially scheduled for June 25 at 2:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "The Huns Esports" if The Huns Esports win the match against GAMEPOINT. This market will resolve to "GAMEPOINT" if GAMEPOINT win the match against The Huns Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. For esports events like this one, prediction markets may react faster to roster changes or recent performance data, whereas sportsbooks adjust more cautiously. Comparing this market's odds to major esports betting sites can reveal whether the crowd is pricing in information that traditional oddsmakers have yet to fully incorporate.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker mechanism where buying and selling pressure directly moves the odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each trade shifts the probability curve, and the current price reflects the collective assessment of all participants. Liquidity pools allow traders to enter and exit positions continuously, with spreads tightening as volume increases. The market's pricing efficiency depends on active participation and information flow, so periods of high trading activity typically produce tighter bid-ask spreads and more accurate probability estimates.
This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, once the best-of-three match concludes and the winner is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the series within the LG UltraGear Tournament Group A format. Resolution occurs after official tournament results are published and confirmed, ensuring accuracy before payouts are distributed. Traders should monitor the tournament schedule and official announcements to stay informed of any delays or format changes that might affect settlement timing.
Several factors could shift odds before the match concludes: recent team performance and win streaks, roster changes or player substitutions, head-to-head historical records, and in-game momentum during the series itself. Map bans and strategic adjustments between rounds often trigger price swings as traders reassess win probability. Injury announcements, coaching changes, or unexpected roster announcements closer to the event date can also move the market significantly. Live trading during the match itself typically sees the most volatile price action as each map result becomes known.
