This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between Team zoneR and Team Burger in the BetBoom Streamers Battle Group B, initially scheduled for July 1 at 2:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Team zoneR" if Team zoneR win the match against Team Burger. This market will resolve to "Team Burger" if Team Burger win the match against Team zoneR. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like Polymarket derive prices from continuous trader activity and real-time information flow. This market may show higher or lower implied probabilities than major sportsbooks, depending on how quickly each venue incorporates news, team roster changes, or recent performance data. Comparing the two can reveal arbitrage opportunities or signal where informed traders see value relative to conventional betting markets.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on buy and sell volume. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects strong conviction around one team's chances. As traders deposit capital and place orders, the contract price moves continuously, creating a dynamic equilibrium that incorporates all available information. This decentralized pricing model means the market can respond rapidly to roster announcements, scrim results, or other signals that sportsbooks may lag on, making Polymarket a real-time gauge of informed trader expectations.
This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official tournament bracket and match scoreline as recorded by the event organizers and major esports news outlets. Until that date, traders can continue buying and selling shares, and prices may shift as the event approaches or as new information about team form emerges. Resolution is final once the match is played and the winner is publicly confirmed.
Several catalysts could shift prices before the match concludes. Roster changes, player substitutions, or injury announcements affecting either team would likely trigger sharp moves. Recent scrim results, public statements from coaches, or leaked practice footage could also influence trader sentiment. Tournament bracket updates, seeding changes, or news about opponent strength may alter perceived difficulty. Additionally, real-time match events—such as early map results if this is a best-of-three—would drive rapid repricing as traders update their expectations based on live performance. Monitor esports news outlets and team social media for breaking developments.
