This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between Team Novaq and Rune Eaters in the LG UltraGear Tournament Group A, initially scheduled for June 25 at 2:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Team Novaq" if Team Novaq win the match against Rune Eaters. This market will resolve to "Rune Eaters" if Rune Eaters win the match against Team Novaq. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate beliefs from traders risking real capital. For esports events like this one, sportsbook odds may lag behind market-driven pricing, especially if prediction market participants have specialized knowledge of team form, roster changes, or recent scrim results. Comparing the two can reveal where informed traders see value.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker mechanism, where buying or selling shares directly moves the price based on supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current probability reflects the aggregate belief of all participants who have traded in this market. As new information emerges—such as player announcements, recent tournament results, or team performance updates—traders adjust their positions, causing the odds to shift in real time. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices respond to new signals.
This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome will reflect which team wins the best-of-three series in the LG UltraGear Tournament Group A stage. Resolution occurs after the final map is played and the victor is officially confirmed by tournament organizers or reliable esports reporting. Traders should monitor official tournament channels and credible esports news outlets for final confirmation.
Several factors could shift odds before the match concludes. Player roster changes, injury announcements, or last-minute lineup adjustments for either team would likely trigger immediate repricing. Recent tournament performance, scrim results, or public statements from coaches and players can influence trader sentiment. Map pool updates, patch changes to the game, or unexpected bracket developments in the tournament structure may also impact perceived win probability. Closer to the event date, pre-match analysis and expert commentary often drive final positioning adjustments.
