Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round of 16 match between Team Nemesis and RUSTEC in the CCT Europe Series #20 Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 8 at 10:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Team Nemesis" if Team Nemesis win the match against RUSTEC. This market will resolve to "RUSTEC" if RUSTEC win the match against Team Nemesis. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket resolve on fundamentally different events. Kalshi resolves on whether RUSTEC or Team Nemesis wins the CCT Europe Series #20 2026 (the tournament itself), while Polymarket resolves on specific match statistics (Map 1-3 rounds/kills, map winners, handicaps, and series length) from the Team Nemesis vs RUSTEC BO3 match scheduled for April 8, 2026. These are incompatible resolution scopes: Kalshi's outcome depends on tournament progression beyond this single match, whereas Polymarket's outcomes depend only on this match's internal statistics.

Hero Tip:

Do not assume Kalshi and Polymarket markets will move together. A Kalshi YES (RUSTEC or Nemesis wins the tournament) does not determine any Polymarket outcome (e.g., Map 1 odd/even rounds). Conversely, Polymarket Map 1 results do not determine whether the tournament winner is RUSTEC or Nemesis. If you are hedging across platforms, treat them as independent events with separate resolution pathways.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi resolves on tournament outcome, not match statistics. The market states 'If RUSTEC wins the CCT Europe Series #20 2026... then the market resolves to Yes' and 'If Team Nemesis wins the CCT Europe Series #20 2026... then the market resolves to Yes.' This creates a logical contradiction: both outcomes cannot resolve to YES in a single market. Additionally, Kalshi's resolution depends on the full tournament bracket and results beyond the April 8 match, making it a tournament-level settlement rather than a match-level settlement.
  • Polymarket: Aligned with match-level resolution: Polymarket resolves on specific statistics from the Team Nemesis vs RUSTEC BO3 match (Map 1-3 odd/even rounds, Map 1-3 odd/even kills, map winners, map handicaps, series length). Each market has a clear binary or ternary outcome tied to match data only. For example, 'Map 1: Odd/Even Total Rounds' resolves based on the sum of rounds in Map 1 alone, with primary source HLTV.org. Resolution is independent of tournament progression.
