Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between Team Falcons and NRG in the BLAST Open Rotterdam Group A, scheduled for March 18 at 7:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Team Falcons" if Team Falcons win the match against NRG. This market will resolve to "NRG" if NRG win the match against Team Falcons. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket resolve on fundamentally different events. Kalshi settles on whether over 2.5 maps are played in the match (a series-level metric), while Polymarket offers multiple granular markets on individual map winners, map totals, handicaps, and map-specific statistics. The platforms do not directly contradict each other, but they measure different dimensions of the same match.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Kalshi, you are betting on series length (3+ maps = Yes). If you trade on Polymarket, you have multiple independent bets on map outcomes and statistics. A Kalshi YES (3 maps played) does not guarantee any specific Polymarket outcome—it only ensures Map 3 is played. Conversely, Polymarket map winners do not directly determine Kalshi's outcome unless you infer series length from the match result. Treat these as separate trading universes.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Distinct stance: Kalshi offers a single binary market on series length only. The market resolves YES if over 2.5 maps are played (i.e., 3 or more maps), and NO otherwise. No individual map or player-level data is required. Quote: 'If over 2.5 maps are played in the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026: NRG vs. Team Falcons CS2 match originally scheduled for Mar 18, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes.'
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket offers seven granular markets covering match winner, individual map winners (Map 1, Map 2), map total (O/U 2.5), map handicap, and map-specific statistics (odd/even rounds and kills per map). Each market has independent resolution criteria tied to specific map outcomes or series metrics. Quote: 'This market will resolve to "Team Falcons" if Team Falcons win the match against NRG' and 'This market will resolve to "Over" if Team Falcons and NRG play 3 or more maps in this series.'
