This market refers to the Counter-Strike Quarterfinal 2 match between TDK and Walczaki in the European Pro League Series 7 Playoffs, initially scheduled for June 18 at 6:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "TDK" if TDK win the match against Walczaki. This market will resolve to "Walczaki" if Walczaki win the match against TDK. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently because they operate on distinct mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds based on internal models and risk management, while prediction markets allow traders to set prices through supply and demand. This market reflects what participants collectively believe will happen, often incorporating real-time information and crowd intelligence. Comparing this market's implied probability to a sportsbook's odds can reveal where consensus diverges, though both aim to reflect the true likelihood of the outcome.
This market resolves around Jun 18, 2026, once the event concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result, eliminating ambiguity about which team prevailed. Until that date, traders can continue to adjust positions as new information emerges. Resolution is final once the event is settled, and any positions held at that time will be paid out according to the confirmed outcome.
Several factors could shift prices before this market resolves. Team roster changes, player injuries, or recent performance trends in the competitive scene may influence trader expectations. Scrimmage results or public statements from team management could also sway sentiment. As the match date approaches, increased media coverage and analyst predictions often drive renewed trading activity. Additionally, broader esports news or meta shifts in the game itself might prompt reassessment of either team's chances, causing notable price swings in the days leading up to the fixture.
