Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Quarterfinal 1 match between Spirit and MOUZ in the IEM Rio Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 17 at 11:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Spirit" if Spirit win the match against MOUZ. This market will resolve to "MOUZ" if MOUZ win the match against Spirit. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Kalshi and Polymarket resolve based on the outcome of the Spirit vs MOUZ BO3 match scheduled for April 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM EDT, with consistent handling of forfeits, walkovers, delays beyond 7 days, and HLTV.org as the primary resolution source.

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from https://hltv.org; if results not published within 2 hours of event conclusion, consensus of credible reporting including video evidence may be used.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match Winner (Polymarket): Resolves to 'Spirit' if Spirit wins the BO3, or 'MOUZ' if MOUZ wins the BO3.
  • Match Winner (Kalshi): Both outcomes (MOUZ win or Spirit win) resolve to Yes, confirming the match was played and completed.
  • Games Total O/U 2.5: Resolves to 'Over' if 3 or more maps are played; 'Under' if fewer than 3 maps are played.
  • Map Handicap Spirit (-1.5): Resolves to 'Spirit' if Spirit wins 2 or more maps than MOUZ; otherwise 'MOUZ'.
  • Individual Map Winners (Map 1, Map 2): Resolve to the team winning that specific map, or 50-50 if the map is not completed.
  • Odd/Even Rounds and Kills (Maps 1, 2, 3): Resolve based on total combined rounds or kills in each map, or 50-50 if the map is not played.
  • Cancellation/Delay Rule: If match is canceled, ends in a tie, or delayed beyond 7 days without a winner, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Forfeit/Walkover Rule: If match ends due to forfeit, disqualification, or walkover before play begins, match winner resolves 50-50; if match begins and one team wins via opponent forfeit/disqualification, that team wins; map-specific markets resolve 50-50 if the map is not completed.
  • Clinching Map Forfeit: If the clinching map is forfeited, the match counts as completed and resolves to the team that clinched.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Match Begins but Not Completed with Forfeit: If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, the match winner market resolves to the winning team. However, map-specific markets for incomplete maps resolve 50-50.
  • Series Clinch Before Map 3: If a team clinches the series before Map 3 is needed (e.g., 2-0 result), Map 3 will not be played. All Map 3 markets (winner, odd/even rounds, odd/even kills) resolve 50-50.
  • Map Remake: If any map is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only, not the original.
  • Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 17, 2026) without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • No Kills Recorded in Map: If no kills are recorded in any map (Odd/Even Kills markets), that market resolves 50-50.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official completion of the match as reported by HLTV.org within 2 hours of event conclusion, or by consensus of credible reporting if HLTV.org has not published results within that window.
