PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All markets across Predict and Polymarket share identical primary source (HLTV.org), 2-hour fallback window, and consistent edge-case handling for cancellations, delays, forfeits, and incomplete play.Primary resolution logic: Official HLTV.org; credible reporting with video evidence if HLTV results unavailable within 2 hours of match conclusion

Core resolution logic:

  • Match Winner (Predict & Polymarket): Resolves to winning team if match completes; 50-50 if canceled, delayed beyond 7 days without completion, or ends in pre-match forfeit/walkover/disqualification
  • Map Winners (Map 1, Map 2, Polymarket): Resolves to map winner if map completes; 50-50 if map not played due to series clinch, canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, or forfeited before start
  • Series Length (Games Total O/U 2.5): Over if 3+ maps played; Under if fewer than 3; 50-50 if match canceled, delayed beyond 7 days without play, or incomplete mid-series
  • Map Handicap (Sashi -1.5 vs AaB +1.5): Sashi wins if 2+ map advantage; otherwise AaB wins; 50-50 if match canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, or incomplete mid-series
  • Map Statistics (Rounds Odd/Even, Kills Odd/Even): Resolves based on completed map totals; 50-50 if map not played, canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, or clinched before play
  • Team Name Matching: Recognizable abbreviations, sponsor tags, academy designations, and minor formatting differences treated as same team; 50-50 only if name has no reasonable connection to participating team or creates ambiguity

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Mid-Series Forfeit/Disqualification: If match begins and one team forfeits/is disqualified after at least one map, the winning team takes the series; completed maps count toward totals and statistics. If forfeit occurs before any map completion, series resolves 50-50.
  • Series Clinch Before Map 3: If one team wins 2-0, Map 3 is not played. Map 3-specific markets (winner, rounds, kills) resolve 50-50. Series length resolves Under (2 maps < 2.5).
  • Delay Beyond 7 Days: If match is delayed more than 7 days from May 4 scheduled date without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Map Remake: If any map is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only; original game statistics do not count.
  • No Kills Recorded: If a map is played but zero kills are recorded (extremely unlikely in CS:GO), Odd/Even Kills markets resolve 50-50.
Timing: Resolution occurs upon match completion or official HLTV publication within 2 hours thereof. If HLTV unavailable, credible reporting consensus with video evidence applies. Delays beyond 7 days from May 4 trigger 50-50 resolution for all markets. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 2 match between Sashi Academy and AaB Bulls in the Dust2.dk Ligaen Group Stage, initially scheduled for May 4 at 2:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Sashi Academy" if Sashi Academy win the match against AaB Bulls. This market will resolve to "AaB Bulls" if AaB Bulls win the match against Sashi Academy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
