This market refers to the Counter-Strike Lower bracket final match between Rooster and DXA Esports in the Dfrag Open Series #5 Playoffs, initially scheduled for June 17 at 4:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "Rooster" if Rooster win the match against DXA Esports. This market will resolve to "DXA Esports" if DXA Esports win the match against Rooster. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate beliefs from traders risking real capital. This market may show higher or lower implied probability than traditional sportsbooks, depending on which venue's participants have stronger conviction or better information about the teams' form and matchup dynamics.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on buy and sell pressure. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects strong confidence in one side of the series, with the market pricing Map Handicap outcomes where one team is favored by 1.5 maps. As traders place orders, the probability shifts in real time, allowing participants to enter and exit positions throughout the trading window.
This market resolves around Jun 17, 2026, once the best-of-three series concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the required number of maps to take the series, with the map handicap applied according to the specific outcome selected. Resolution occurs automatically once the event result is confirmed and recorded.
Team roster changes, recent performance in qualifying rounds, and player form leading up to the Dfrag Open Series playoffs could all shift market odds. Injury announcements, coaching adjustments, or notable upsets in related tournaments may influence trader sentiment. Additionally, any public statements from team management or analyst commentary on map strategy and head-to-head records could trigger repricing as new information reaches the market.
