Description

This event group covers a Counter-Strike Best-of-3 match between Rooster and DXA Esports in the Dfrag Open Series #5 Playoffs Upper Bracket Semifinal, scheduled for June 15, 2026 at 4:30 AM EDT. Markets span match winner, map winners, map-specific round handicaps, and total maps played across Kalshi and Polymarket platforms.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All markets across both platforms share identical resolution sources (HLTV.org primary, credible consensus secondary), identical edge-case handling (cancellation, delay, forfeit, incomplete maps), and identical completion criteria (match must be completed; maps must be played to conclusion by actual rounds).Primary resolution logic: Official HLTV.org reporting; if unavailable within 2 hours of event conclusion, credible consensus reporting including video evidence.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner (Rooster vs DXA Esports) resolves based on which team wins the best-of-3 series.
  • Map winners (Map 1, Map 2, Map 3) resolve based on which team wins each individual map, provided the map is played to completion.
  • Map round handicaps (Rooster -3.5 vs DXA Esports +3.5) resolve based on the round differential on each map; Rooster wins if margin exceeds 4 rounds in their favor, otherwise DXA Esports wins.
  • Total maps (Over/Under 2.5) resolves to Over if 3 or more maps are played, Under if fewer than 3 maps are played.
  • Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward match completion and totals, provided the match itself is completed.
  • If the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days without a winner determined, all markets resolve to 50-50.
  • If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, match-winner markets resolve to that team; map-specific markets resolve to 50-50 unless the map was already completed.
  • If a map is not played, not played to completion, or decided by forfeit/disqualification/walkover rather than actual rounds, map-specific and map-round-handicap markets resolve to 50-50.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Pre-match forfeit or walkover: If one team withdraws before the match starts and the other wins automatically, the match-winner market resolves to 50-50. All map-specific markets also resolve to 50-50.
  • Incomplete map with clinching forfeit: If the match ends due to the clinching map being forfeited, this counts as a completed match and the match-winner market resolves to the team that clinched. Map-specific markets for the forfeited map resolve to 50-50.
  • Delay beyond 7 days: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (June 15, 2026) without a winner determined, all markets resolve to 50-50.
  • Map played to completion then match forfeited: If a map is completed with a final round score, map-winner and map-round-handicap markets for that map resolve based on the completed round score, regardless of any subsequent forfeit or disqualification in later maps or the overall match.
  • HLTV reporting delay: If HLTV.org does not publish final results within 2 hours of event conclusion, credible consensus reporting (including video evidence) may be used as the resolution source.
Timing: Resolution occurs upon match completion (all maps played or match concluded by forfeit/disqualification/walkover/clinching). If the match is not completed within 7 days of the scheduled date (June 15, 2026), all markets resolve to 50-50 on the 7-day deadline. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket semifinal 1 match between Rooster and DXA Esports in the Dfrag Open Series #5 Playoffs, initially scheduled for June 15 at 4:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "Rooster" if Rooster win the match against DXA Esports. This market will resolve to "DXA Esports" if DXA Esports win the match against Rooster. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the outcome of the Dfrag Open Series #5 2026 CS2 match between DXA Esports and Rooster originally scheduled for June 15, 2026 at 4:30 AM EDT. Each team has a corresponding market that resolves to Yes if that team wins the match. The resolution is determined by the official match result from the tournament.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price outcomes through different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous order books or automated market makers. This market reflects real-time consensus from thousands of participants rather than a single operator's view. Prediction market prices often lead sportsbook lines during volatile events, making them useful for comparing public sentiment and identifying sharp positioning before major esports tournaments.

Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform operates distinct order books, user bases, and contract structures. Kalshi's straightforward win-loss format attracts different traders than Polymarket's map handicap design, which requires predicting relative performance across multiple maps. Liquidity depth, fee structures, and settlement timing also vary between venues. These structural differences mean prices can diverge meaningfully, even for the same underlying event. Arbitrage opportunities occasionally emerge, rewarding traders who monitor both platforms closely.

Key catalysts include roster changes or player substitutions announced before the series begins, recent tournament results or head-to-head records between the teams, and map pool updates or bans that shift strategic advantage. Live match performance—particularly early map outcomes in the best-of-three—will drive sharp repricing as new information emerges. Community sentiment, team form, and injury or availability updates can also trigger significant price swings. Monitor esports news outlets and official team channels for breaking developments.
