This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket quarterfinal 3 match between QUAZAR and Spirit Academy in the GLuck Yungstar Series #2 Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 17 at 9:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "QUAZAR" if QUAZAR win the match against Spirit Academy. This market will resolve to "Spirit Academy" if Spirit Academy win the match against QUAZAR. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show higher or lower implied probabilities than major esports sportsbooks, depending on which venue attracts sharper information or larger volume. Comparing the two can reveal where public perception and professional oddsmakers disagree on the playoff matchup.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probability quotes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Shares representing each outcome trade continuously, and the current price of a winning share reflects the crowd's live estimate of that result occurring. Higher prices indicate stronger trader conviction; lower prices suggest skepticism. You buy or sell fractional shares at the displayed price, and your position settles based on the verified match result.
This market resolves around Jul 17, 2026, once the playoff series concludes and the winner is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-three Counter-Strike match under the GLuck Yungstar Series #2 Playoffs format. Your position settles automatically once the result is confirmed, and any shares backing the winning team pay out at full value while losing shares expire worthless.
Key catalysts include roster changes or player substitutions announced by either team, recent tournament results and head-to-head records, map pool updates or meta shifts in the competitive scene, and injury or availability news affecting star players. Pre-match interviews, team statements, or coaching changes can shift trader sentiment. Live map results during the series itself will drive sharp repricing as new information emerges. Monitor esports news outlets and team social channels for announcements that could alter perceived match likelihood.
