This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 2 match between Patins da Ferrari and Guara Esports in the CCT South America Series 3 Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 30 at 6:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Patins da Ferrari" if Patins da Ferrari win the match against Guara Esports. This market will resolve to "Guara Esports" if Guara Esports win the match against Patins da Ferrari. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show higher or lower implied probabilities than major esports sportsbooks, depending on information flow and liquidity depth. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd on Polymarket sees edge relative to conventional betting venues, though prediction markets typically reward accuracy over volume.
On Polymarket, traders set the price of this market through an automated market maker mechanism, where buying and selling pressure directly moves the odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The cost to buy a share reflects the implied probability of each outcome, and as more capital flows in one direction, the price adjusts to rebalance. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices respond to new information. Participants profit by correctly predicting the match result, with payouts determined by their entry price and the final resolution.
This market resolves around Jul 1, 2026, once the best-of-three match between the two teams concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the series under official CCT South America Series 3 Group Stage rules. Resolution typically occurs shortly after the final map is played and the winner is confirmed by tournament organizers or broadcast partners. Traders should monitor the official CCT schedule and team announcements to stay informed on timing.
Key catalysts include roster changes or player substitutions announced by either team, recent head-to-head results, and performance in prior CCT matches. Injury reports, coaching adjustments, and map pool strategy shifts can shift trader sentiment significantly. Scrim results or public statements from team management may also influence odds. Additionally, broader esports news—such as sponsorship announcements or competitive standings updates—can affect perceived team momentum. Live match developments, including early map outcomes in the series, will likely create sharp price movements as traders update their expectations in real time.
