This market refers to the Counter-Strike Lower bracket quarterfinal 2 match between OLDBOYS- and Arch in the ESEA Advanced Europe Playoffs, initially scheduled for June 14 at 1:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "OLDBOYS-" if OLDBOYS- win the match against Arch. This market will resolve to "Arch" if Arch win the match against OLDBOYS-. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
If over 2.5 maps are played in the ESEA Advanced Europe 2026: Arch vs. OLDBOYS- CS2 match originally scheduled for Jun 14, 2026 at 1:30 PM EDT, then the market resolves to Yes.
Polymarket and Kalshi may price this market differently due to distinct user bases, contract designs, and liquidity pools. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Polymarket focuses on binary map-count outcomes, attracting traders interested in series length, while Kalshi emphasizes individual map results, drawing those with granular tactical views. Differences in trading volume, fee structures, and the timing of information arrival across platforms can also create temporary price gaps. Arbitrageurs often exploit these spreads, but during low-activity windows, structural differences in how each platform frames outcomes can sustain modest divergence.
Several catalysts could shift odds before the match concludes. Roster changes, player substitutions, or last-minute lineup announcements for either team will likely trigger repricing, especially if key fraggers are unavailable. Recent map veto patterns, head-to-head records on specific maps, and meta shifts in the current CS:GO patch can also influence trader sentiment. Injury reports, team form leading up to playoffs, and community sentiment on social media may accelerate price movement. As match time nears, any official delay or format change would reset expectations, while early map results during the series itself will drive real-time volatility in map-winner contracts.
