This market tracks whether the total number of rounds played in the first map of the Counter-Strike match between NIP and M80 will be over or under 21.5. Currently, Polymarket gives a 100.0% probability to the “Over/Under 21.5” outcome. Resolution will be based on the results reported at https://hltv.org. Keep an eye on the match start time of September 17, 2026 at 5:00 AM ET, as the total rounds played will determine the outcome of this market.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between NIP and M80 in the Logitech G Play Connect Group A, initially scheduled for September 17, 2026 at 5:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "NIP" if NIP win the match against M80. This market will resolve to "M80" if M80 win the match against NIP. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of September 17, 2026 at 5:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market aggregates the collective intelligence of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook lines, it could indicate that prediction market participants have access to information or insights not yet fully priced into traditional betting markets. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither guarantees the actual outcome of the NIP vs M80 CS:GO match.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe NIP will win, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will climb, and vice versa for M80. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adapt to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Sep 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the best-of-one match between NIP and M80 will be used to determine the winning outcome. The platform will rely on official sources to verify the match result, ensuring a transparent and accurate resolution process. Traders should monitor the official CS:GO event coverage for updates leading up to and following the completion of the match.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market before resolution. Unexpected news regarding player form, team strategies, or even roster changes could shift trader sentiment. In-game performance during other matches on the same day could also provide insights into team momentum and impact the odds. Major upsets in other Group A matches could also indirectly affect the perceived chances of NIP or M80. Any significant information released regarding the teams or the tournament could lead to increased volume and price fluctuations in this market.
