This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket quarterfinal 2 match between NEW VISION and Wingman in the GLuck Yungstar Series #2 Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 17 at 3:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "NEW VISION" if NEW VISION win the match against Wingman. This market will resolve to "Wingman" if Wingman win the match against NEW VISION. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders who have direct financial exposure to accuracy. For this market, comparing the current prediction market price to published esports sportsbook lines can reveal whether one venue perceives higher or lower probability than the other. Traders often exploit these gaps, making prediction markets a useful signal of where informed participants believe true odds lie.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader positions into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Participants buy or sell shares representing each outcome, and the price adjusts continuously based on order flow. Higher trading volume typically narrows spreads and increases price accuracy, while lower volume can widen the gap between bid and ask. The mechanism incentivizes traders to correct mispricings, making the market price a dynamic consensus estimate of the match result.
This market resolves around Jul 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on the final result of the best-of-three series between the two teams. Once the match concludes and the winner is established through official esports sources, the market settles accordingly. Traders should monitor the event schedule closely to ensure they understand the exact timing and any potential delays that could affect resolution.
Several factors could shift this market significantly before resolution. Team roster changes, player substitutions, or injury announcements may alter perceived strength. Recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and map pool advantages can all influence trader positioning. Pre-match commentary from analysts and community sentiment on social media often precedes price movement. Additionally, betting patterns from professional or well-known traders may signal new information, causing the market to reprrice. Monitoring esports news outlets and team announcements is essential for staying ahead of market moves.
