Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Semifinal 2 match between Natus Vincere and PARIVISION in the BLAST Open Rotterdam Playoffs, initially scheduled for March 28 at 1:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "Natus Vincere" if Natus Vincere win the match against PARIVISION. This market will resolve to "PARIVISION" if PARIVISION win the match against Natus Vincere. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi's resolution logic is fundamentally broken and contradictory: both outcomes (PARIVISION wins OR Natus Vincere wins) resolve to YES, making the market logically unresolvable. Polymarket provides coherent binary resolution (one team wins = that team resolves YES; the other resolves NO) with clear tie/cancellation rules.

Hero Tip:

DO NOT trade on Kalshi's match-winner market — it contains a logical contradiction that makes settlement impossible. Polymarket's match-winner market is resolvable and should be the reference. All map-specific and handicap markets on Polymarket are coherent; verify Kalshi equivalents do not exist or contain similar defects before trading.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi:

Outlier: Kalshi's match-winner market states 'If PARIVISION wins... market resolves to Yes' AND 'If Natus Vincere wins... market resolves to Yes,' creating a logical impossibility where both outcomes produce the same result. This violates basic binary market structure and makes settlement unresolvable.
  • Polymarket:

Distinct stance: Polymarket provides coherent binary resolution: 'resolves to Natus Vincere if Natus Vincere win' and 'resolves to PARIVISION if PARIVISION win,' with explicit tie/cancellation rules resolving to 50-50. All derivative markets (Map 1 Winner, Map 2 Winner, O/U 2.5, Odd/Even Kills/Rounds, Handicaps) follow consistent logic tied to HLTV as primary source.
