Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Lower bracket quarterfinal 1 match between MOUZ and 9z in the BLAST Open Rotterdam Group B, initially scheduled for March 21 at 9:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "MOUZ" if MOUZ win the match against 9z. This market will resolve to "9z" if 9z win the match against MOUZ. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Polymarket defines comprehensive resolution rules for 10 distinct markets (Map 1/2/3 winners, odd/even kills, odd/even rounds, series winner, handicap, total games) with detailed edge cases and fallback logic. Kalshi provides only a single binary market on Map 1 outcome with no edge case handling, creating a fundamental structural divergence in market scope and resolution framework.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Polymarket, you have 10 separate markets with detailed contingency rules (50-50 resolution for forfeits, delays beyond 7 days, uncompleted maps, etc.). Kalshi offers only one Map 1 market with no stated fallback logic. Polymarket traders have granular exposure to individual map outcomes and statistics; Kalshi traders have minimal exposure. Verify which platform matches your intended bet before committing capital.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Polymarket: Outlier: Polymarket offers 10 distinct markets covering Map 1/2/3 winners, odd/even kills per map, odd/even rounds per map, series winner, map handicap (-1.5), and total games (O/U 2.5). Each market includes detailed resolution rules with explicit 50-50 fallback for forfeits, disqualifications, walkovers, delays beyond 7 days, uncompleted maps, and remakes. Primary source is HLTV.org with 2-hour fallback to credible consensus. Example: 'If Map 1 is never played due to forfeit, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to 50-50.'
  • Kalshi: Outlier: Kalshi offers a single binary market resolving YES if either MOUZ or 9z wins Map 1 in the match scheduled for Mar 21, 2026. No resolution source is specified, no edge case handling is provided, and no fallback logic is stated for forfeits, delays, or incomplete matches. The market structure is: 'If MOUZ wins map 1... then the market resolves to Yes. If 9z wins map 1... then the market resolves to Yes.' This creates logical ambiguity: both outcomes resolve to YES, leaving NO resolution path undefined.
