PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Predict and Polymarket employ identical resolution criteria, source hierarchy, edge case handling, and timing windows across all 11 markets in this group.Primary resolution logic: HLTV.org (official); consensus of credible reporting with video evidence if HLTV.org unavailable within 2 hours of event conclusion

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner (MASQ vs Washed): resolves to the team that wins the BO3 series; 50-50 if canceled, tied, delayed >7 days, or forfeited before play begins
  • Map winner (Map 1, 2, or 3): resolves to the team winning that specific map if played and completed; 50-50 if map not played, not completed, or series clinches before map is needed
  • Map handicap (Washed -1.5 vs MASQ +1.5): Washed wins if they win 2+ more maps than MASQ; otherwise MASQ wins; 50-50 if match canceled, tied, delayed >7 days, or forfeited mid-series
  • Series length (O/U 2.5 maps): Over if 3+ maps played; Under if fewer than 3; 50-50 if canceled, tied, delayed >7 days, or forfeited mid-series
  • Map kills (Odd/Even): resolves based on total combined kills (both teams) in that map; includes regulation and overtime; excludes team kills and self-inflicted deaths; 50-50 if map not played, canceled, delayed >7 days, or series clinches before map is needed
  • Map rounds (Odd/Even): resolves based on total combined rounds won (both teams) in that map; includes overtime; 50-50 if map not played, canceled, delayed >7 days, or series clinches before map is needed
  • Team name matching: minor discrepancies (abbreviations, alternate spellings, sponsor tags, regional identifiers, formatting) are resolved to the underlying real-world team; ambiguous or non-matching names resolve 50-50
  • In-match forfeits, disqualifications, or walkovers: if match begins and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture, that team wins; if forfeiture occurs before match starts, resolve 50-50
  • Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, or default: count toward series total and handicap if match is completed; do not count if series is incomplete

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Series clinches before Map 3: If MASQ or Washed wins 2 maps before Map 3 is played, Map 3 markets (winner, kills, rounds) resolve 50-50 because Map 3 is not played due to series conclusion.
  • Match forfeited before play begins: If either team forfeits, is disqualified, or walks away before the match starts, all markets resolve 50-50 (not to the opposing team).
  • Match forfeited mid-series after at least one map is completed: If the match begins, at least one map is completed, but then the series is forfeited or abandoned, series-level markets (match winner, handicap, series length) resolve 50-50; completed map markets resolve based on their results.
  • HLTV.org delay beyond 2-hour window: If HLTV.org does not publish final results within 2 hours of event conclusion, resolution falls back to consensus of credible reporting (news, video evidence, official league statements).
  • Map remake: If a map is remade, all statistics (kills, rounds, winner) resolve based on the remade game only, not the original.
Timing: Resolution occurs upon match completion or upon determination that the match will not be completed. If HLTV.org publishes results, resolution is immediate; if fallback to credible reporting is required, resolution occurs within 2 hours of event conclusion. Delayed matches beyond 7 days without a winner resolve to 50-50.Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 2 match between MASQ and Washed in the Dust2.dk Ligaen Group Stage, initially scheduled for May 4 at 11:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "MASQ" if MASQ win the match against Washed. This market will resolve to "Washed" if Washed win the match against MASQ. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
