This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between M80 and GamerLegion in the Logitech G Play Connect Group A, initially scheduled for September 17, 2026 at 7:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "M80" if M80 win the match against GamerLegion. This market will resolve to "GamerLegion" if GamerLegion win the match against M80. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of September 17, 2026 at 7:00 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market allows traders to directly assess probabilities. If prediction market odds significantly diverge from sportsbook odds, it can indicate disagreement about the true likelihood of an outcome. It's common to see prediction markets outperform traditional sportsbooks in accuracy, as they aggregate the wisdom of the crowd and are incentivized to reflect genuine probabilities. However, this is not always the case, and discrepancies can arise due to differing information or biases.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand – if many traders believe M80 will win, they will buy contracts predicting that outcome, driving up the price and indicating a higher perceived probability.
This market resolves around Sep 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Counter-Strike: M80 vs GamerLegion (BO1) match within the Logitech G Play Connect Group A competition. The winning team, as declared by the tournament organizers, will determine the payout of this market. Any disputes regarding the official result will be addressed based on publicly available information and tournament rules.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. News regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for either M80 or GamerLegion could all shift the odds. Major upsets in other matches within the Logitech G Play Connect Group A competition might also affect perceived team strength. Even social media sentiment and prominent analyst opinions could create short-term price fluctuations. Any significant information impacting the perceived likelihood of either team winning is likely to move this market before Sep 17, 2026.
