Markets span match winner, individual map winners, map-level statistics (kills, rounds, handicaps), and series length, with resolution sourced from HLTV.org.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike Decider match between LPH Gaming and INFURITY Gaming in the United21 Group B, initially scheduled for June 5 at 6:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "LPH Gaming" if LPH Gaming win the match against INFURITY Gaming. This market will resolve to "INFURITY Gaming" if INFURITY Gaming win the match against LPH Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi typically reflect real-time trader consensus without the margin built into traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and profit; prediction markets aggregate distributed beliefs from many participants. For this LPH Gaming vs INFURITY Gaming matchup, prediction market odds may diverge from sportsbook lines due to different liquidity pools, trader sophistication, and absence of bookmaker juice. Direct comparison requires checking both simultaneously, as prediction markets often move faster on breaking news or roster changes.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity depths, and fee structures. Polymarket may show stronger conviction on match winner odds, while Kalshi's over/under maps market reflects distinct participant pools focused on series length. Regulatory frameworks, user bases, and order-book depth create natural price gaps. Arbitrage opportunities emerge when one platform reprices faster than the other following team news, player availability updates, or recent scrim results. These differences typically narrow as traders exploit spreads.
Key catalysts include roster changes or player substitutions announced before match day, recent tournament results and map pool performance by either team, and injury or availability updates. Scrim results leaked by community members often shift odds. Pre-match interviews revealing team morale or tactical adjustments can trigger repricing. Odds may also react to betting volume spikes if sharp money enters one side. Live map bans during the series will cause dramatic swings as the BO3 unfolds and map-specific strengths become apparent.
