This event group covers a Counter-Strike Best-of-3 match between los kogutos and WHITEBIRD in the CCT Europe Series #16 Group Stage, scheduled for February 22, 2026. Markets span match winner, map-specific winners, map handicaps, and total maps played across Polymarket and Kalshi platforms.
Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
All platforms apply the same primary resolution source (HLTV.org), identical edge-case handling for forfeits and cancellations, and consistent map-counting rules across match winner, map-specific, handicap, and total-maps markets.
Primary resolution logic:
HLTV.org official results; if unavailable within 2 hours of match conclusion, consensus of credible reporting and video evidence.
Core resolution logic:
Match Winner: Resolves to the team that wins the Best-of-3 series (first to 2 map wins).
Map-Specific Winners (Map 1, Map 2): Resolve to the team that wins the individual map, provided the map is completed.
Map Handicap (WB -1.5 vs LK +1.5): Resolves to WHITEBIRD if WHITEBIRD wins 2+ more maps than los kogutos; otherwise resolves to los kogutos.
Map Handicap (LK -1.5 vs WB +1.5): Resolves to los kogutos if los kogutos wins 2+ more maps than WHITEBIRD; otherwise resolves to WHITEBIRD.
Total Maps (O/U 2.5): Resolves to Over if 3+ maps are played; Under if fewer than 3 maps are played.
Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward all calculations provided the match is completed.
Forfeits of the clinching map count as a completed match.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Canceled or Not Played: If the match is canceled entirely or not played for any reason, all markets resolve to 50-50 (Polymarket) or No (Kalshi).
Match Begins but Incomplete (Mid-Series Forfeit): If the match begins but is not completed and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover before the series ends, match winner and total-maps markets resolve to 50-50 (Polymarket) or No (Kalshi). Map-specific markets resolve based on completed maps only.
Pre-Match Forfeit or Walkover: If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover before play begins, all markets resolve to 50-50 (Polymarket) or No (Kalshi).
Delay Beyond 7 Days Without Completion: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (February 22, 2026) without a winner determined, all markets resolve to 50-50 (Polymarket) or No (Kalshi).
Incomplete Individual Map: If a specific map (Map 1 or Map 2) is not completed for any reason, that map-specific market resolves to 50-50 (Polymarket) or No (Kalshi); however, if the series is completed, match winner and handicap markets resolve based on the final series outcome.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of final match results on HLTV.org, or within 2 hours after match conclusion if HLTV.org has not published; if neither occurs, resolution uses consensus of credible reporting and video evidence. Markets resolve no later than 2 hours after the scheduled match time (February 22, 2026, 1:00 PM ET / 1:25 PM ET) plus any documented delays.
