Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket round of 16 match between Leo Team and BIG Academy in the ESL Challenger League Europe Cup #4 Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 25 at 1:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Leo Team" if Leo Team win the match against BIG Academy. This market will resolve to "BIG Academy" if BIG Academy win the match against Leo Team. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi's match-outcome market resolves YES for both possible winners, creating a logical impossibility. Polymarket correctly defines mutually exclusive outcomes. This is a data integrity failure on Kalshi's platform.

Hero Tip:

Do not trade the Kalshi match outcome market—it is fundamentally unresolvable. Trade only Polymarket markets. For all markets, confirm the match actually occurred and was not forfeited, canceled, or delayed beyond 7 days. Use HLTV.org as primary source; fall back to video evidence and credible reporting if HLTV is silent after 2 hours.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Match outcome market states: 'If Leo Team wins... then resolve YES' AND 'If BIG Academy wins... then resolve YES.' Both teams cannot win simultaneously. This is a logical contradiction that makes the market unresolvable.
  • Polymarket: Match outcome resolves to 'Leo Team' if Leo Team wins, 'BIG Academy' if BIG Academy wins. Map-specific markets (Map 1, Map 2 winners) resolve to the map winner or 50-50 if not completed. Series total (O/U 2.5 maps) resolves Over if 3+ maps played, Under if fewer. Handicap market resolves Leo Team if they win 2+ more maps than BIG Academy. All markets resolve 50-50 if match canceled, delayed 7+ days without play, or forfeited. Quote: 'If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins.'
