This market refers to the Counter-Strike Semifinal 1 match between largadosypelados and paiN in the RES Showdown South America Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 10 at 4:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "largadosypelados" if largadosypelados win the match against paiN. This market will resolve to "paiN" if paiN win the match against largadosypelados. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. On this market, odds may lead or lag sportsbook lines depending on information flow and trader conviction. Neither is inherently more accurate, but comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value opportunities for informed bettors.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects expectations around the match result, with prices updating continuously as new trades execute. Traders buy and sell shares representing different scenarios, and the cumulative order flow determines the odds you see. This mechanism ensures transparent, friction-free pricing without traditional intermediaries setting the line.
This market resolves around Jul 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will reflect the actual result of the match as documented by reliable esports sources. Until that time, traders can continue to buy and sell positions as new information emerges. Once the event concludes and the outcome is verified, all positions settle according to the final result.
Several factors could shift odds before resolution. Team roster changes, player injuries, or roster announcements may alter perceived strength. Recent match performance, scrim results, or public statements from coaches and players often influence trader sentiment. Meta shifts in the game itself—balance patches or map rotations—can impact competitive dynamics. Additionally, betting action and media coverage can amplify or dampen price movements. Traders monitor all these signals to adjust positions ahead of the match.
