This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round of 16 match between Isurus and Yawara Esports in the CCT South America Series 3 Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 7 at 9:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Isurus" if Isurus win the match against Yawara Esports. This market will resolve to "Yawara Esports" if Yawara Esports win the match against Isurus. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders wagering real capital on outcomes they believe are mispriced. In esports, prediction markets may react faster to roster changes, recent form, or community sentiment than traditional sportsbooks, which update less frequently. Comparing this market's odds to major esports betting sites can reveal whether traders see value that bookmakers have missed or overlooked.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling shares in each outcome, with the current price reflecting the collective belief in that result's likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently priced is Map 2 Total Rounds: Over/Under 21.5, indicating strong market focus on round-count predictions within the second map. As new information emerges—such as team performance data, map bans, or player availability—traders adjust their positions, causing prices to shift. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market remains responsive to evolving match conditions.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the match concludes and results are verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the actual performance of both teams across the best-of-three series, including map wins, round counts, and final series results. Resolution hinges on official match data published by tournament organizers or verified esports reporting platforms. Traders should monitor official CCT South America Series 3 channels for confirmation of final scores before settlement is finalized.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before the match begins. Roster announcements or last-minute player substitutions often trigger sharp repricing, as do recent tournament results or head-to-head records between the teams. Map pool updates or bans announced by tournament officials can reshape expectations around specific map outcomes. Community analysis, coach interviews, or leaked scrim results may influence trader sentiment. During the series itself, early map results, round momentum, and economic decisions will drive continuous price adjustments as the true competitive balance becomes clearer.
