This market refers to the Counter-Strike Quarterfinal 3 match between Inner Circle Esports and GenOne in the RES Showdown Europe Playoffs, initially scheduled for July 9 at 11:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Inner Circle Esports" if Inner Circle Esports win the match against GenOne. This market will resolve to "GenOne" if GenOne win the match against Inner Circle Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like Polymarket price outcomes based on what thousands of independent traders believe will happen. Traders risking real capital tend to incorporate news, team form, and expert analysis quickly, sometimes moving faster than sportsbooks adjust their lines. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal whether predictors see value the books have missed or whether consensus has shifted since the last update.
This market resolves around Jul 9, 2026, once the best-of-three series concludes and the winner is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the required number of maps to take the series. Until that point, prices will fluctuate as new information emerges—roster changes, recent form, map bans, and live match results all influence trader sentiment. Resolution is automatic once the event is officially confirmed, and payouts are distributed to holders of the winning outcome shares.
Several catalysts could shift prices significantly before Jul 9, 2026. Roster announcements, player injuries, or last-minute lineup changes often trigger sharp repricing. Recent tournament results and head-to-head records between the teams influence trader confidence. Map pool updates or bans can favor one side strategically. Analyst commentary and community sentiment on social media sometimes precede market moves. Live map results during the series itself will drive the most dramatic swings, as traders update their beliefs based on actual performance. Any external news affecting either organization's preparation or morale could also move the odds.
