Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Quarterfinal 1 match between Infinite and Oxuji Esports in the European Pro League Series 7 Playoffs, initially scheduled for June 18 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Infinite" if Infinite win the match against Oxuji Esports. This market will resolve to "Oxuji Esports" if Oxuji Esports win the match against Infinite. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Counter-Strike Infinite vs Oxuji match displays real-time odds and price history as traders buy and sell shares tied to each team's victory. You can monitor how the market is pricing each outcome, track cumulative trading volume, and observe how sentiment shifts as match details emerge. The interface shows the current implied probability for each side, letting you compare live market conviction against your own expectations before the best-of-three series begins.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price outcomes differently. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets reflect crowdsourced trader conviction with minimal intermediation. This market aggregates real-money bets from many participants, often surfacing information faster than sportsbooks adjust. However, sportsbooks may offer tighter spreads or different promotional terms. Comparing both sources helps identify where consensus diverges and which venue offers better value for your thesis.

On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on one team's victory, and the price reflects the collective assessment of all active traders. As new information surfaces—team roster changes, recent form, or injury reports—traders adjust positions, moving the implied probability. The market remains open until resolution, allowing continuous repricing as the event approaches.

This market resolves around Jun 18, 2026, once the best-of-three series concludes and the winner is verified against credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the majority of maps in the playoff match. No ambiguity typically surrounds esports results, as match outcomes are broadcast live and confirmed by league officials and independent sources. Resolution occurs shortly after the final map concludes.

Key catalysts include roster announcements or last-minute lineup changes, recent tournament results and head-to-head records, and pre-match analysis from respected esports commentators. Map pool selections and bans can shift perceived matchup strength, especially if one team has a dominant map or a known weakness. Injury or availability issues affecting key players, coaching adjustments, and live in-game momentum during the series itself will all influence trader positioning. Monitor team social media and league broadcasts for updates that could reshape expectations.
