This prediction market group centers around a Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Best-of-Three (BO3) match between INFINITE Talent and 95 Vikings in the Tipsport Cup Open #2 Group B. Markets cover overall match winner, individual map winners, round handicaps, and total rounds played on each map, as well as the total number of maps played in the series.
This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between INFINITE Talent and 95 Vikings in the Tipsport Cup Open #2 Group B, initially scheduled for September 23, 2026 at 10:15 AM ET. This market will resolve to "INFINITE Talent" if INFINITE Talent win the match against 95 Vikings. This market will resolve to "95 Vikings" if 95 Vikings win the match against INFINITE Talent. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of September 23, 2026 at 10:15 AM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while prediction markets allow participants to freely express their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, particularly when public sentiment strongly diverges from sportsbook expectations. It's possible to find arbitrage opportunities by comparing odds across both types of platforms, though transaction costs and platform fees should be considered.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Price discrepancies between Polymarket and Predict on this market can arise from several factors. Each platform attracts a different user base with varying risk appetites and information access. Trading volume also plays a role; lower volume on one platform can lead to greater price volatility and divergence. Furthermore, the specific market structures and fee mechanisms on Polymarket and Predict can influence how traders price the same event. Currently, Polymarket currently favors Map 1 Total Rounds: Over/Under 21.5 at 97%, while Predict leans toward Counter-Strike: INFINITE Talent vs 95 Vikings - Map 2 Winner.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before it resolves. Unexpected news regarding player form, team strategies, or even potential roster changes could shift trader sentiment. In-game performance during the match itself, such as early map wins or dominant individual plays, will likely cause significant price fluctuations. Major upsets in other matches within the Tipsport Cup could also indirectly impact this market by altering perceptions of team strength and momentum. Monitoring social media and esports news sources will be crucial for staying informed about potential catalysts.
