Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket round 1 match between Imperial and Game Hunters in the ESL Challenger League South America Cup #4 Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 26 at 5:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Imperial" if Imperial win the match against Game Hunters. This market will resolve to "Game Hunters" if Game Hunters win the match against Imperial. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Kalshi and Polymarket share identical resolution architecture: 7-day delay threshold, HLTV.org primary source with credible reporting fallback, 50-50 for pre-match forfeits, and map-level 50-50 for unplayed maps or series-clinching scenarios.

Primary resolution logic:

HLTV.org (official); credible reporting and video evidence if HLTV does not publish within 2 hours of match conclusion

Core resolution logic:

  • Match must be completed (winner determined) within 7 days of scheduled date (April 26, 2026, 5:00 PM EDT); otherwise resolves 50-50
  • If match is canceled entirely or ends in a tie, resolve 50-50
  • If match begins but is not completed and one team wins via opponent forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, that team is credited with the win
  • If match ends due to forfeit, disqualification, or walkover before play begins, resolve 50-50
  • Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward series totals and handicaps if the match is completed
  • Map-specific markets (Map 1/2/3 winners, kills, rounds) resolve 50-50 if the map is not played (e.g., series already clinched) or if the match is canceled/delayed beyond 7 days without play
  • If a map is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only
  • Team name discrepancies (abbreviations, sponsor tags, minor spelling errors) are resolved by identifying the underlying real-world team; if ambiguous or no reasonable match exists, resolve 50-50

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Series Clinch Before Map 3: If one team wins 2-0, Map 3 is not played. All Map 3 markets (winner, kills, rounds) resolve 50-50 because the map was not played due to series conclusion.
  • Forfeit Before Match Start: If a team forfeits or is disqualified before any map is played, the match resolves 50-50 (not to the other team). However, if play begins and a team forfeits mid-series, the opponent is credited with the win.
  • Map Remakes: If a map is remade (e.g., technical issue), resolution is based on the remade game only, not the original.
  • Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed more than 7 days from April 26, 2026 without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • HLTV Publication Delay: If HLTV.org does not publish final results within 2 hours of match conclusion, credible reporting (news, video evidence) may be used as fallback source.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon match completion (all maps played and winner determined) or upon expiration of the 7-day window from scheduled date (April 26, 2026, 5:00 PM EDT). HLTV.org publication or credible reporting consensus must be finalized within 2 hours of match conclusion for timely settlement.
