This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between Ground Zero and Arcade Esports in the HyperX & Intel Nationals Group B, initially scheduled for July 17 at 1:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Ground Zero" if Ground Zero win the match against Arcade Esports. This market will resolve to "Arcade Esports" if Arcade Esports win the match against Ground Zero. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven purely by trader conviction and information flow. Prediction markets frequently outperform bookmakers at forecasting because traders have real money at stake and can adjust positions continuously. Comparing this market's odds to major esports sportsbooks can reveal whether the crowd is more or less confident than professional oddsmakers in the outcome.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on order flow and liquidity. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current probability reflects the balance between buy and sell orders, with each trade moving the price incrementally. As new information emerges—team roster changes, recent performance, or injury reports—traders react by repositioning, which causes the odds to shift in real time. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to developments leading up to the match.
This market resolves around Jul 17, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result from the HyperX & Intel Nationals Group B competition. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information and momentum shift market sentiment. Resolution is automatic once the event is finalized and reported by authoritative esports sources.
Several catalysts could shift odds before the match plays out. Roster announcements, player substitutions, or unexpected roster changes from either team would likely trigger sharp repricing. Recent tournament results, scrim outcomes, or public statements from team management can also influence trader positioning. Hardware or technical issues affecting either squad, map selection announcements, or betting-market activity from professional esports syndicates may create volatility. Monitor esports news outlets and team social media for developments that could reshape expectations around this matchup.
