Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Quarterfinal 4 match between Gentle Mates and ASTRAL in the LORGAR RANKINGS Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 25 at 11:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Gentle Mates" if Gentle Mates win the match against ASTRAL. This market will resolve to "ASTRAL" if ASTRAL win the match against Gentle Mates. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms apply identical core logic: match outcome determines series winner; individual map outcomes determine map-specific markets; cancellation, delay beyond 7 days, or incomplete matches without a clear winner resolve to 50-50; forfeits/walkovers before play resolve to 50-50, but mid-series forfeits count the advancing team as winner; odd/even markets on unplayed maps resolve to 50-50.

Primary resolution logic:

HLTV.org (https://hltv.org) for official final results; credible consensus reporting and video evidence if HLTV does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner (series): resolves to the team winning 2 maps in the best-of-3 format.
  • Map winner (Map 1, Map 2, Map 3): resolves to the team winning that individual map, only if the map is played to completion.
  • Series length (O/U 2.5): resolves to Over if 3 or more maps are played; Under if fewer than 3 maps are played. Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, or walkover count if the match is completed.
  • Map handicap (-1.5/+1.5): resolves to Gentle Mates if they win 2 or more maps than ASTRAL; otherwise resolves to ASTRAL. Forfeited/disqualified/walkover maps count if match is completed.
  • Odd/Even kills and rounds (Map 1, 2, 3): resolve based on total combined kills or rounds in that map, including overtime. Resolve to 50-50 if the map is not played, not completed, or the series is already clinched before that map is needed.
  • Cancellation, tie, or delay beyond 7 days without play: all markets resolve to 50-50.
  • Forfeit, disqualification, or walkover before match start: all markets resolve to 50-50.
  • Forfeit, disqualification, or walkover mid-series after play has begun: the advancing team is credited with the win; series continues or concludes based on map count.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Incomplete series with mid-series forfeit: If a team forfeits, is disqualified, or walks over after play has begun (e.g., after Map 1 is completed), the advancing team is credited with that map win and the series continues or concludes based on the map count at that point. Match winner and series-level markets resolve to the advancing team; map-specific markets for completed maps resolve based on actual results; unplayed maps resolve to 50-50.
  • Map not played due to series clinch: If a team clinches the series before Map 3 is needed (e.g., 2-0 after Map 2), Map 3 markets (winner, odd/even kills, odd/even rounds) all resolve to 50-50.
  • Remade map: If a map is remade for any reason, resolution is based on the remade game only; the original result is disregarded.
  • Team name discrepancies: Minor spelling variations, sponsor tags, academy designations, or formatting differences are treated as referring to the same team if the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the competition. If no reasonable connection exists or ambiguity cannot be resolved, markets resolve to 50-50.
  • Odd/even with zero kills or rounds: If no kills are recorded in a map, or if a map is never played, odd/even kill markets resolve to 50-50. Odd/even round markets resolve to 50-50 if the map is not played or not completed.

Timing:

Resolution occurs within 2 hours after the match concludes (all maps played or series clinched). If HLTV.org does not publish final results within 2 hours, credible consensus reporting and video evidence may be used. Markets remain open until official or consensus resolution is available.
