Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket quarterfinal 3 match between GenOne and SPARTA in the ESL Challenger League Europe Cup #4 Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 27 at 1:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "GenOne" if GenOne win the match against SPARTA. This market will resolve to "SPARTA" if SPARTA win the match against GenOne. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms employ identical resolution hierarchy: official HLTV.org as primary source, credible consensus as fallback within 2 hours, with consistent 50-50 outcomes for cancellations, ties, delays beyond 7 days, and pre-match forfeits.

Primary resolution logic:

Official HLTV.org reporting; credible consensus (video evidence, multiple reliable sources) if HLTV.org does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner resolves to the team that wins the best-of-3 series (first to 2 maps).
  • Map-specific markets (Map 1/2/3 winner, rounds, kills) resolve only if that map is played to completion with a winner determined.
  • Maps played due to mid-series forfeit, disqualification, or walkover count toward series and map totals.
  • Pre-match forfeits, disqualifications, or walkovers (team withdraws before play begins) resolve to 50-50.
  • Series cancellation, tie, or delay beyond 7 days from scheduled date without completion resolves to 50-50.
  • Games Total (O/U 2.5) resolves Over if 3+ maps are played; Under if fewer than 3 maps are played.
  • Map Handicap (SPARTA -1.5 vs GenOne +1.5) resolves to SPARTA if SPARTA wins 2+ more maps than GenOne; otherwise GenOne.
  • Round and kill totals include overtime rounds and all valid kills; team kills and self-inflicted deaths do not count.
  • If a map is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Mid-series forfeit or walkover: If a team forfeits, is disqualified, or walks over during the series (after play has begun), the map is counted as won by the other team, and the series result stands. The match resolves to the series winner.
  • Pre-match forfeit or walkover: If a team forfeits, is disqualified, or withdraws before the match begins, all markets resolve to 50-50.
  • Map not played due to series clinch: If Map 2 or Map 3 is not played because one team has already won the series (e.g., 2-0), all markets specific to that map resolve to 50-50.
  • Incomplete map with no winner: If a map begins but is not completed and no winner is determined, that map-specific market resolves to 50-50. If the series is not completed, all remaining markets resolve to 50-50.
  • Delay beyond 7 days: If the match is delayed more than 7 days from the scheduled date (April 27, 2026) without a winner determined, all markets resolve to 50-50.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon completion of the match (first team to win 2 maps). HLTV.org must publish results within 2 hours of match conclusion; if not, credible consensus reporting is used. All markets settle within 24 hours of official publication or consensus determination.
