PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Kalshi and Polymarket share identical resolution logic for match outcome, map winners, totals, handicaps, and granular statistics, with unified fallback rules for cancellations, delays, forfeits, and incomplete play.

Primary resolution logic:

HLTV.org official results; credible reporting consensus (including video evidence) if HLTV.org does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner resolves to the team that wins the Best-of-3 series (first to 2 map wins)
  • Individual map winners (Map 1, Map 2, Map 3) resolve to the team that wins that specific map, provided the map is completed
  • Total maps (Over/Under 2.5) resolves to Over if 3+ maps are played, Under if fewer than 3 maps are played
  • Map handicap (GL -1.5 vs 9INE +1.5) resolves to GamerLegion if they win 2+ more maps than 9INE; otherwise to 9INE
  • Odd/Even kill and round markets resolve based on total combined kills or rounds in the specified map, including overtime
  • Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward totals and handicaps if the match is completed
  • If a match begins but is not completed, and one team wins via opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, the winning team is awarded; however, if the series result is determined by mid-series forfeit without a winner, those markets resolve 50-50
  • If the match ends due to the clinching map being forfeited, it counts as a completed match for totals and handicaps

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Match Canceled or Not Played: If the match is canceled entirely or delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50
  • Incomplete Map (Mid-Series Forfeit): If the match begins but is not completed due to forfeit/disqualification/walkover before a winner is determined, map-specific and aggregate markets resolve 50-50; however, if one team clinches the series before Map 3 is needed, Map 3 odd/even markets resolve 50-50
  • Unplayed Map Due to Series Clinch: If a map (e.g., Map 3) is not played because the series result has already been determined (e.g., a team wins 2-0), odd/even kill and round markets for that map resolve 50-50
  • Map Remade: If any map is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only
  • Tie or Inconclusive Result: If the match ends in a tie or no winner is determined within 7 days of the scheduled date, all markets resolve 50-50

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official publication by HLTV.org or within 2 hours of event conclusion via credible reporting consensus. Markets settle immediately upon determination of the match outcome and all relevant map statistics.
