PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms enforce identical match-completion requirements, use HLTV.org as primary source with credible reporting fallback, and apply consistent 50-50 resolution for cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, pre-match forfeits, and incomplete matches.

Primary resolution logic:

Official HLTV.org; credible reporting and video evidence if HLTV.org does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner resolves to the team that wins the best-of-three series (first to 2 map wins)
  • Individual map winners resolve based on the team that wins that specific map within the series
  • Series length (O/U 2.5) resolves to Over if 3 maps are played, Under if 2 or fewer maps are played
  • Map handicap (GH -1.5 vs MAGICOS +1.5) resolves to Game Hunters if they win 2+ more maps than MAGICOS, otherwise to MAGICOS
  • Odd/even kill and round markets resolve based on completed maps only; unplayed or incomplete maps resolve 50-50
  • Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, or default count toward series totals and handicaps if the match is completed
  • If match is canceled, not played, ends in a tie, or delayed beyond 7 days without completion, all markets resolve 50-50
  • If match begins but is incomplete due to mid-match forfeiture or disqualification, match winner and series length resolve 50-50; completed individual maps still resolve based on their outcome
  • Pre-match forfeits, walkovers, or disqualifications before play begins resolve all markets to 50-50

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Incomplete match with mid-series forfeiture: If a team forfeits or is disqualified after the match begins but before completion, the match winner and series length markets resolve 50-50. However, any maps that were completed before the forfeiture resolve based on their actual outcome.
  • Map not played due to series clinch: If a team clinches the series before all maps are needed (e.g., wins 2-0 and Map 3 is not played), Map 3 winner and Map 3 odd/even markets resolve 50-50.
  • Delay beyond 7 days: If the match is delayed more than 7 days from the scheduled date (March 14, 2026) without a winner determined, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Map remake: If a map is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only, not the original.
  • Overtime rounds in kill/round parity: Kills and rounds in overtime are counted toward odd/even totals. Team kills and self-inflicted deaths do not count as kills.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon match completion (when a team wins 2 maps in the best-of-three). If the match is not completed by 7 days after the scheduled date (March 14, 2026), or if it is canceled or forfeited before play begins, resolution occurs at that point with a 50-50 outcome. HLTV.org publication or credible reporting consensus must be established within 2 hours of event conclusion for final settlement.
