Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms share identical resolution logic for match winner, map winners, total maps, handicaps, and round totals, with consistent handling of cancellations, ties, forfeitures, and rescheduling deadlines.Primary resolution logic: Official information from https://hltv.org, with credible reporting as a backup if hltv.org does not publish within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner resolves to the team that wins the best-of-three series; 50-50 for cancellations, ties, or forfeitures before play begins
  • Map-specific markets resolve only if the relevant map is completed; otherwise 50-50
  • Total maps market resolves to Over if 3 or more maps are played, Under if fewer than 3; 50-50 for cancellations, ties, or unresolved matches
  • Handicap and round total markets resolve based on completed map results; 50-50 if the map is not completed or the match is canceled/rescheduled beyond deadline

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Map not completed: All map-specific markets (winners, handicaps, total rounds) resolve 50-50 if the map is not played to completion, including forfeitures, disqualifications, or walkovers during the map
  • Match canceled or tied: Match winner and total maps markets resolve 50-50 if the match is canceled, ends in a tie, or is forfeited before any maps are played
  • Rescheduled beyond deadline: All markets resolve 50-50 if the match is postponed and the most recently announced start time is after September 2, 2026, regardless of later play
Timing: Markets resolve based on official results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, using credible reporting as a backup if hltv.org does not publishOur PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
