PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Kalshi and Polymarket align on HLTV.org as the authoritative source and apply identical 50-50 fallback logic for cancellations, delays beyond 7 days, ties, and pre-match forfeits across all related markets.

Primary resolution logic:

HLTV.org official match information and results

Core resolution logic:

  • Match outcome (BO3) resolves to the team winning 2 maps first
  • Individual map winners resolve based on the team winning that specific map
  • Map handicap FURIA (-1.5) resolves to FURIA if they win 2+ more maps than B8; otherwise B8
  • Games Total O/U 2.5 resolves Over if 3 or more maps are played, Under if fewer than 3
  • Match cancellation, tie, or delay beyond 7 days without play beginning results in 50-50 resolution
  • Pre-match forfeit, disqualification, or walkover results in 50-50 resolution
  • If match begins but incomplete: completed individual maps resolve normally; series outcome and handicap resolve 50-50
  • Mid-match forfeit or disqualification by opponent results in resolution to the winning team

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Incomplete Match with Completed Maps: If the match begins but does not complete, individual map markets (Map 1, Map 2) resolve based on the completed map result. Series outcome, handicap, and total games markets resolve 50-50.
  • Pre-Match Forfeit or Walkover: If either team withdraws before the match starts or a pre-match disqualification occurs, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Mid-Match Forfeit or Disqualification: If one team forfeits, is disqualified, or walks out after the match has begun, the opposing team is credited with the win and markets resolve accordingly.
  • Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed more than 7 days from the scheduled February 14 date without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Match Tie or No Winner: If the match ends in a tie or no winner is determined, all markets resolve 50-50.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon completion of the match or determination of final outcome on HLTV.org, or upon the occurrence of a triggering edge case (cancellation, delay beyond 7 days, forfeit, etc.). Markets settle within 24 hours of official HLTV.org confirmation.
