Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 1 match between FURIA fe and paiN Academy in the CCT South America Series #1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for April 29 at 9:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "FURIA fe" if FURIA fe win the match against paiN Academy. This market will resolve to "paiN Academy" if paiN Academy win the match against FURIA fe. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Kalshi and Polymarket apply identical cancellation thresholds (7-day delay), fallback sources (credible consensus + video evidence), and 50-50 resolution for forfeits/walkovers at series start, with consistent treatment of completed vs. incomplete maps and remakes.

Primary resolution logic:

Official HLTV.org (https://hltv.org); credible consensus reporting and video evidence if HLTV unavailable within 2 hours of match conclusion

Core resolution logic:

  • Match outcome (FURIA fe vs paiN Academy) resolves to the series winner; 50-50 if canceled, tied, delayed >7 days without play, or forfeited/disqualified before start
  • Individual map winners (Map 1, Map 2) resolve to the map winner if that map is completed; 50-50 if map not played, not completed, or series decided before that map
  • Map round totals (Odd/Even) resolve based on combined rounds (regulation + overtime); 50-50 if map not played, not completed, or series decided before that map
  • Map kill totals (Odd/Even) resolve based on combined kills excluding team kills and self-inflicted deaths; 50-50 if map not played, not completed, or series decided before that map
  • Series total maps (Over/Under 2.5) resolves Over if 3+ maps played, Under if fewer; 50-50 if canceled, tied, delayed >7 days without play, or incomplete with mid-series forfeit
  • Map handicap (paiN Academy -1.5 vs FURIA fe +1.5) resolves to paiN Academy if they win 2+ more maps than FURIA fe; otherwise FURIA fe; 50-50 if canceled, tied, delayed >7 days, or incomplete with mid-series forfeit
  • Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward totals and handicap only if the overall match is completed

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Mid-series forfeit/disqualification: If match begins but one team forfeits/is disqualified mid-series: completed maps resolve normally (map winner, rounds, kills); series outcome and totals resolve 50-50; map handicap resolves 50-50
  • Series decided before Map 3: If a team clinches the series 2-0 before Map 3 is played, Map 3 markets (winner, rounds, kills) all resolve 50-50; series total (Over/Under 2.5) resolves Under; map handicap resolves based on the 2-0 result
  • Map remake: If any map is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only; original game is disregarded
  • 7-day delay threshold: If match is delayed beyond 7 days from scheduled date (April 29, 2026) without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50; if play has begun, completed maps resolve normally
  • No kills recorded in a map: If a map is played but no kills are recorded (edge case), kill parity markets for that map resolve 50-50

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official HLTV publication of final match results, or within 2 hours of match conclusion if HLTV data is unavailable and credible consensus is used. Markets settle immediately upon determination of the outcome; no further updates occur after settlement.
