Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket round of 16 match between fnatic and Rune Eaters in the ESL Challenger League Europe Cup #4 Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 25 at 1:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "fnatic" if fnatic win the match against Rune Eaters. This market will resolve to "Rune Eaters" if Rune Eaters win the match against fnatic. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All markets across both platforms use identical resolution sources (HLTV.org primary, credible reporting secondary), apply consistent 50-50 fallback logic for cancellations/delays beyond 7 days/incomplete play, and define map statistics uniformly (total combined rounds/kills including overtime, excluding friendly fire).

Primary resolution logic:

HLTV.org official match data; credible video evidence and consensus reporting if HLTV does not publish final results within 2 hours of match conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner resolves to the team that wins the best-of-3 series (first to 2 maps); if match begins but is incomplete and one team wins via opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover after play starts, that team wins; if match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days without play, or ends in a tie, resolve 50-50.
  • Individual map winners resolve based on the team that wins that specific map; if the map is completed, resolution is based on the completed map; if the map is not played due to series clinch, forfeit, disqualification, or walkover, resolve 50-50.
  • Map statistics (total rounds, total kills) are calculated as the sum of both teams' rounds won or kills recorded, including all regulation and overtime rounds; team kills (friendly fire) and self-inflicted deaths do not count; if the map is not played or canceled, resolve 50-50.
  • Series length (Games Total O/U 2.5) resolves Over if 3 or more maps are played, Under if fewer than 3 maps are played; maps won by forfeit/disqualification/walkover count if the match is completed; if match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, or incomplete with no winner determined, resolve 50-50.
  • Map handicap (FNC -1.5 vs Rune Eaters +1.5) resolves to fnatic if fnatic wins 2 or more maps than Rune Eaters; otherwise resolves to Rune Eaters; forfeit/disqualification/walkover maps count if match is completed; if match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days, ends in a tie, or incomplete, resolve 50-50.
  • Kalshi's tournament-level market (If Rune Eaters or fnatic wins ESL Challenger League Europe Cup #4) resolves Yes if either team wins the tournament; this is distinct from the match-level markets and depends on the full tournament outcome, not just this specific match.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Match begins but incomplete: If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to opponent forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, that team is declared the winner. For map-specific markets, if the map is concluded with a winner determined, resolution is based on that completed map; if the map is not completed, resolve 50-50.
  • Series clinch before Map 3: If one team clinches the series (wins 2 maps) before Map 3 is needed, Map 3 is not played. All Map 3 markets (winner, rounds, kills) resolve 50-50. Games Total O/U 2.5 resolves Under (fewer than 3 maps played).
  • Map remake: If a map is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only, not the original.
  • Delay beyond 7 days: If the match is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 25, 2026) without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Team name discrepancies: Minor spelling variations, sponsor tags, academy designations, or formatting differences in team names (e.g., FNC vs fnatic) are treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly identified within the competition.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon match completion or within 2 hours after the match concludes if using HLTV.org as the primary source. If HLTV does not publish within 2 hours, credible video evidence and consensus reporting may be used. Markets resolve 50-50 if the match is not played or delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date of April 25, 2026 at 1:00 PM EDT.
