This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between fnatic and Lilmix in the Stake Pulse Beat I Group D, initially scheduled for August 3 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "fnatic" if fnatic win the match against Lilmix. This market will resolve to "Lilmix" if Lilmix win the match against fnatic. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
This event determines the winner of map 2 in the VCT EMEA 2026 match between Team Heretics and Fnatic, scheduled for August 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM EDT. If Team Heretics wins map 2, that market resolves to Yes; if Fnatic wins map 2, its market resolves to Yes. If the match or map is postponed beyond 48 hours, cancelled, or forfeited before play begins, both markets resolve to the fair market price. If a map begins and is later forfeited, resolution follows the official result from the governing body. Kalshi is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
In the upcoming VCT best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-08-02 18:30 UTC: if Team Heretics wins the series, the market will resolve to "Team Heretics"; if Fnatic wins the series, the market will resolve to "Fnatic". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Resolution Source: official VCT broadcast and https://valorantesports.com/; community coverage on vlr.gg may be used as a supplementary source. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.
Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to unique trader dynamics and liquidity conditions. While sportsbooks may set their lines based on broader analytics and risk management, prediction markets let participants bet directly on outcomes, which can create sharper or more volatile pricing. The gap between the two can be especially noticeable for niche events like this one, where market speculation and rapid information flow influence prices differently. Traders should compare both sources for a fuller picture of expected outcomes.
Prices on Polymarket and Opinion can vary because of differences in user bases, trading volumes, and market design. Polymarket and Opinion can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one platform might attract more traders focused on short-term moves, while another could have a broader, more patient audience. This leads to distinct pricing signals, especially when recent news or performance shifts perceptions quickly. Such divergence offers opportunities for arbitrage or insight into shifting sentiment across communities, and monitoring both platforms helps you gauge a more nuanced outlook on this market.
Key signals such as team announcements, player performance in prior matches, injury updates, and pre-match betting surges can all shift this market. Media coverage highlighting strategic advantages or lineup changes may also cause rapid moves, especially as the event date approaches and traders adjust their positions based on new information.
