This market refers to the Counter-Strike match between FlyQuest and DXA Esports in the HyperX & Intel Nationals Group B, initially scheduled for July 17 at 1:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "FlyQuest" if FlyQuest win the match against DXA Esports. This market will resolve to "DXA Esports" if DXA Esports win the match against FlyQuest. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven by direct trader participation and real-money incentives to forecast accurately. This market's odds may move faster or slower than sportsbooks depending on new information, team roster changes, or shifts in public sentiment. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd on Polymarket sees value relative to conventional betting markets, though both sources inform serious bettors and analysts.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in a continuous auction. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price of each outcome reflects the collective belief of all active traders at that moment. When new information emerges—such as player performance data, team announcements, or match updates—traders adjust their positions, moving prices up or down. The more capital flowing into a particular outcome, the higher its price climbs, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to real-world developments leading up to the event.
This market resolves around Jul 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winning prediction will be determined by the actual result of the match as documented by reliable esports sources and tournament records. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information and match developments influence their confidence. Resolution is final once the event concludes and the outcome is officially recorded.
Several factors could shift trader sentiment before this market closes. Team roster changes, player injuries, or last-minute substitutions could alter perceived match strength. Pre-match analysis from esports commentators and professional predictions may sway the crowd's confidence. Recent performance data, head-to-head records, and tournament momentum all influence how traders reassess the odds. Unexpected announcements from either organization, coaching changes, or equipment issues could also trigger price movement. As the match date approaches, any credible reporting on team form or competitive readiness typically drives renewed trading activity.
