Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Lower bracket quarterfinal 1 match between FaZe and TYLOO in the BLAST Open Rotterdam Group A, initially scheduled for March 20 at 9:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "FaZe" if FaZe win the match against TYLOO. This market will resolve to "TYLOO" if TYLOO win the match against FaZe. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket use different resolution metrics for the same event. Kalshi resolves based on whether over 2.5 maps are played (a series-level metric), while Polymarket offers multiple markets with distinct resolution criteria: match winner, individual map winners, map-level round/kill counts, and map handicaps. The platforms do not directly contradict each other, but they measure different aspects of the same match.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Kalshi's 'over 2.5 maps' market, you are betting purely on series length (3+ maps = Yes). On Polymarket, you can bet on specific match outcomes, individual map results, and granular statistics (rounds, kills). Kalshi's outcome is a subset of Polymarket's data — a Kalshi YES (3 maps played) does not tell you who won the series or any individual map. Conversely, knowing the Polymarket match winner does not directly resolve Kalshi's market unless you also know the series went to 3 maps.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Distinct stance: Kalshi offers a single binary market on series length only. The market resolves YES if over 2.5 maps are played (i.e., 3 or more maps in the BO3 series), and NO otherwise. No information on match winner, individual map outcomes, or per-map statistics is provided. Quote: 'If over 2.5 maps are played in the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026: TYLOO vs. FaZe CS2 match originally scheduled for Mar 20, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes.'
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket offers 12 separate markets covering match winner, individual map winners (Maps 1–2), map-level round totals (Odd/Even for Maps 1–3), map-level kill totals (Odd/Even for Maps 1–3), series-level map count (Over/Under 2.5), and map handicaps (FaZe -1.5 and TYLOO -1.5). Each market has its own resolution criteria and source (HLTV.org). Quote (match winner): 'This market will resolve to FaZe if FaZe win the match against TYLOO.' Quote (series length): 'This market will resolve to Over if FaZe and TYLOO play 3 or more maps in this series.'
