This market refers to the Counter-Strike Winners match between FaZe Up Next and Västerås in the United21 Group B, initially scheduled for July 8 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "FaZe Up Next" if FaZe Up Next win the match against Västerås. This market will resolve to "Västerås" if Västerås win the match against FaZe Up Next. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate decentralized trader beliefs without a built-in spread. This market may show higher or lower implied win probabilities than major sportsbooks, depending on which venue has sharper or more active participation. Comparing both sources can reveal where consensus is strongest.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker (AMM) system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the ratio of liquidity allocated to it—as more traders back one team, that outcome's share price rises and its implied probability increases. This continuous pricing mechanism means odds shift dynamically based on real-time trading activity, allowing you to enter or exit positions at market rates throughout the event window.
This market resolves around Jul 8, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-three series under standard Counter-Strike competition rules. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final map, allowing traders to settle positions promptly after the event is confirmed.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, player injuries or roster changes, recent tournament performance and form, head-to-head map history, and pre-match analysis from professional commentators. Betting volume spikes often precede the match start as casual traders enter the market. Live in-game updates—such as early map wins or momentum shifts—can also trigger sharp price swings if traders adjust their expectations mid-series. Monitor team news and esports media for breaking developments that could shift odds.
